Ingredients

  • 1 cupyellow Moong dal
  • 1 cupambemohar rice
  • Salt
  • Haldi
  • For tadka cumin seed mustard seed hing ginger garlic and Green chi
  • Pure ghee or oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Pressure cook Dal and rice with haldi and salt

  2. 2

    Remove after 3 whistles add more water and make smooth consistency

  3. 3

    In a pan add oil or ghee and add tadka ingredients given above and give tadka on hot mixture of Dal and rice

  4. 4

    Cook well and serve with fried mirchi or papad and curd
