this is a nice side dish which goes well with chicken breast or meat fillet main courses.
Steps
- 1
- Melt butter in a large skillet, add the olive oil and garlic.
- Add the mushrooms and lemon juice. Sautee for a couple of minutes on high heat.
- Add the basil, oregano, salt and pepper and remove from heat while mushrooms are still firm. Do not let mushrooms release water and get soggy.
- You may serve with parmesan shavings on the top. If you are green onion fans you may also add to the recipe, sauté them a bit before adding the mushrooms.
