Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1pack (big plastic container) of fresh mushrooms quartered.
  • 1 tbspof butter
  • 1 tbspof olive oil
  • 2 tbspof lemon
  • 3 cloveof garlic cut in half
  • 1 tspof dried basil
  • 1 tspof dried oregano
  • 1Salt and pepper for seasoning

Steps

  1. 1

    - Melt butter in a large skillet, add the olive oil and garlic.
    - Add the mushrooms and lemon juice. Sautee for a couple of minutes on high heat.
    - Add the basil, oregano, salt and pepper and remove from heat while mushrooms are still firm. Do not let mushrooms release water and get soggy.
    - You may serve with parmesan shavings on the top. If you are green onion fans you may also add to the recipe, sauté them a bit before adding the mushrooms.
