  1. 1 cupsoy sauce
  2. 1 cupsugar
  3. 1/2 tspminced garlic
  4. 1/2 tspgrated ginger

  1. 1

    Combine sugar and soy sauce. Add garlic and ginger. (A couple tablespoons of Saki or other white wine is a nice touch, but optional.)

  2. 2

    Stir until sugar is completely smooth (no longer "grainy").

  3. 3

    Pour into a pretty salad dressing bottle or a jar.
