Cooking Instructions
- 1
MEATBALLS: Combine milk and breadcrumbs and leave for 5 minutes. Turn the oven on to 180°C.
- 2
After 5 minutes, combine the rest of the meatball ingredients. It will create quite a wet mixture.
- 3
Make meatballs - I made mine mini, using a half tablespoon sized measure. This created about 24 meatballs.
- 4
Place on a pre greased baking tray and bake for 15 minutes.
- 5
Once cooked, leave to chill in the fridge.
- 6
NOODLES: Cook noodles as per instructions.
- 7
While they cook, combine your wet ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- 8
When your noodles are done, run under a tap to cool. Drizzle with sesame oil and toss.
- 9
Chop your cucumber, and put in your wet mixture with your noodles. Add your sesame seeds.
- 10
When your meatballs are cool, add, and enjoy!
- 11
NB: can also be enjoyed hot - just add your cucumber at the last minute.

Chinese Lionhead Meatballs Chinese Lionhead Meatballs
Except for the sauces a traditional dish. This is also with an optional flavorful rice. This recipe is a tribute for all the hardships of not only yesteryear but also for today. The Lionhead meatballs are originally put together for when times were hard so they added a lot of easy to get stuff to them. Things that are on hand. It was to fill the tummies of many people. When you try not to waste any food and make it stretch you can come up with some very tasty meals. This rice was added to a little of the oil to fry the meatballs. Then the drippings as the meatballs steamed with the bok-choy there was more then enough to cook the rice in. All I did was add a little bit of soya sauce and salt. A complete meal in harmony using most of the ingredients to cook each item. For my prayers and Hope's that all can eat and reduce waste so all can benefit. skunkmonkey101 -

Seen this recipe on social media, I didn’t know that this is a thing lol! I had some leftover meatballs from my meatball pizza, so I thought I’d give this a try something different other than meatball subs or in a pasta... plus there’s is veggies in this for the kids.... good for soup and salad night (everyone seemed to like it and asked for me. I didn’t think this would be a hit in my house hold , but it was I had none left, I was surprised.) I added some seasoning not in the recipe I do recommend using your favorite seasoning. 🌈NinjaMommaKitchen🌈 -

Tender and Juicy Low-Cal Chinese Meatballs Tender and Juicy Low-Cal Chinese Meatballs
By cooking the meatballs slowly over a low heat (and using the residual heat), the resultant meatballs are very tender. By boiling the meatballs, you can remove the excess fat and they are healthier. The result is still satisfying. When you are on a diet but want to eat meat, this is a good dish.[How to boil the meatballs]Once the water has boiled, turn down the heat to very low. The meatball mixture is quite soft and they won't hold their shape if boiled vigorously! Shape the mixture into balls right before placing them in the hot water. After placing all the meatballs, increase the heat a little and cook for 3 minutes. Turn the heat off and cover with a lid. Leave them to sit until cooled down.
