Ingredients

5 servings
  • 500 gmbaby potatoes
  • 2Onion
  • 5 clovesgarlic
  • 1 inchginger
  • 3Tomatoes puree
  • 12Badam(soaked in water)
  • 3 teaspoonkhas khas(soaked in water)
  • 4 teaspoonMawa
  • 2 teaspoonfresh cream
  • 1/2 teaspoonhaldi
  • 1 teaspoonredchilly powder
  • 1 teaspoonDhania powder
  • 1 teaspoonkasuri methi
  • 1/4 teaspoongaram masala
  • 1 stickdalchini, 3 tejpan, 1 badi elaichi, some javitri
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededOil

Steps

  1. 1

    Half boil the potatoes, peel them. Deep fry till golden brown.

  2. 2

    Make paste of onions,ginger,garlic and whole garam masala.

  3. 3

    Make paste of soaked khas khas and badam.

  4. 4

    Heat oil, add onion paste, saute for 3 mins now add khas khas badam paste, saute it countinusly otherwise it will stick to bottom.

  5. 5

    Add tomato puree, saute for 2 min. Add fresh cream and mawa, cook till oil get separated.

  6. 6

    Add haldi, redchilly, dhania,salt and garam masala with 2 teaspoon water. Stir it. When spices incorporated with gravy add kasuri methi and cook it for 2 min.

  7. 7

    Now add deep fried potatoes and mix well. Add 1 cup water and cover it. cook for 7-8 min.

  8. 8

    Garnish with some kasuri methi and dhania patti. Serve with naan or kulcha.
