Ingredients

15 mins
4 servings
  1. 1baked pastry shell, 21cm diameter, either homemade or ready to roll
  2. 6firm peaches
  3. 1 pinchNutmeg
  4. 300 mlDouble Cream
  5. 2 tspDark Brown sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel 5 peaches and cut into small sections, wedges. Leave the 6th peach for the finishing

  2. 2

    Add them to a saucepan with the brown sugar and nutmeg and add the small amount of water. Bring to boil and simmer for 5 mins stirring all throughout. Add the honey and stir in and simmer for a further 5 minutes until softened. Chop into smaller pieces

    Pour the peach mix into the pastry then put in the fridge for a half hour .

    Pour the double cream into a mixing bowl and add 2 drops of extract of pure vanilla and whisk up into a fluffy cream. For the top of the tart.

    Either put the cream on and spread with a knife or decorate the top with squeezy cream

  6. 6

    When you put the cream on put it back in the fridge until serving.

I only started experimenting with herbs and spices and items I had never heard of before through joining Cookpad 2014 and I'm still learning new things. It is a passion of mine and I always invite my family around so I can create something new for them to try. my children grew up learning lots from me I have 3 daughters all with their own families and two Sons one who cooks for his family also my youngest son who is still at home with me,he comes up with some lovely meals and ideas so I'm proud of them all. 💜
