Ingredients

20 servings
  • First layer
  • 1 cupflour
  • 1 tbspsugar
  • 1/2 cupbutter,softened
  • 1/4 cupchopped pecans
  • Second layer
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1( 8 oz) pkg. cream cheese,softened
  • 1( 8 oz ) tub Cool Whip
  • 3 cupsliced strawberries
  • Third layer
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 4 tbspcornstarch
  • 1 1/2 cupwater
  • 1( 3 oz ) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin

  1. 1

    First layer: Mix flour, sugar, butter and pecans. Spread in a 9 by 13 inch baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes @ 350*F. Cool.

  2. 2

    Second layer: Cream sugar and cream cheese. Fold in cool whip. Spread mixture over crust. Top cream cheese mixture with strawberry slices.

  3. 3

    Third layer: In saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch. Stir in water. Cook until thick, then stir in jello until thoroughly blended. Cool. Spoon glaze over strawberry slices. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving.
