Brings back the memories of childhood when mama calls out for dinner during the rainy cold evenings, so delicious!

Mix the egusi powder in a bowl adding a small quantity of water until it becomes thick and sticky

Place a cup of palm oil in a pot and allow to heat up before adding the thick egusi mixture in a hand full, ball size drops

Allow to fry, then scatter the egusi balls to allow thorough frying, forming smaller egusi balls

Wash and blend the pepper, tomatoes and onions separately, then add to the fried egusi while heating in the pot.

Allow to boil then add 5 cubes of knorr Maggi and a spoon of salt. Wash slice and add your ugwu leaves, dry fish and cooked beef

Allow to cook for 7 - 10 minutes and mix together thoroughly

Dissolve and Mix about 2 cups of semo powder in a cold water, add to a pot of boiling water and allow to cook till it thickens after which you add dry powder of semo, mix thoroughly while cooking till it becomes very thick. Add a small quantity of cold water and allow to boil further. Mix thoroughly again until it becomes fine and smooth. Discontinue heating and pack in clean white serving nylons

Serve with the cooked egusi soup while hot
