Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 900 gramspasta spaghetti
  2. 1big bottle ketchup (catsup)
  3. 1big can tomatoe sauce (4 cups)
  4. 1/2 cuptomatoe paste
  5. 700 1/2 gramsground meat (pork or beef)
  6. 4pieces hotdogs, diced
  7. 1 mediumsized onion, sliced
  8. 1 tspgarlic, minced
  9. 2 tbspsalt
  10. 2 tbspbrown sugar
  11. 1 tspfresh ground black pepper
  12. 1 literwater
  13. 3 tbspcooking oil
  14. 2 mediumsized carrots, finely sliced
  15. 2 canliver spread (small size)
  16. 1cheddar cheese

  1. 1

    Cook the spaghetti in a boiling salted water according to package time.

  2. 2

    In a separate pan, saute the garlic and onions for 2 minutes. Add carrots. Cook for a few minutes.

    Put in the meat and cook for 5 minutes. Add liver spreads and cook for 2 minutes.

    Pour in the tomatoe sauce, catsup, tomatoe paste and water then let it boil and simmer for 30 minutes in a low-medium heat.

    Season with salt and pepper. Add sugar and hotdogs. Mix thoroughly until well blended. Cook for another 5 minutes.

    Arrange the spaghetti pasta in an individual plate or in a large serving bowl. Pour in the sauce over the spaghetti and top with cheese.

    Serve hot!!!

    NOTE: You can use SPICY catsup, if desired.

This sauce was so good!!! Thank you so much!!! The only issue I had with it was that it was a bit watery. I would use half a litre instead. I made it again with half a litre and worked much better. I made this for a party and it actually fed 18 people. We must not eat as much. :)
