This great as a appetizer and snack. I made it for my husband and I as entrée for our father's day dinner. Tastes great if left in the fridge for a few hours I left it there for about 5 hours.

Tomato and Basil Bruschetta

This great as a appetizer and snack. I made it for my husband and I as entrée for our father's day dinner. Tastes great if left in the fridge for a few hours I left it there for about 5 hours.

Ingredients

  1. 12ripe cherry tomatoes
  2. 1 mediumred onion
  3. 2handfuls of basil
  4. 1garlic clove
  5. 1Salt to taste
  6. 1French bread stick
  7. 1/4 tspthick balsamic vinegar to drizzle over top of each bruschetta
  8. 1/4 tspof extra virgin olive oil or less depending on taste for each bruschetta

Cooking Instructions

    Cut up clove of garlic very finely and add to the bowl .

    Cut up cherry tomatoes, onion small dices, and Basil.

  3. 3

    Put above ingredients in a bowl together , add a little salt, and a drizzle of olive oil

    Mix ingredients together, cover and refrigerate for a few hours.

    Now ENJOY!!!

    Spoon the bowl of ingredients on to the slices of bread, and drizzle the balsamic vinegar over top.

    Heat a griddle pan, slice up stick bread, drizzle each side with some olive oil, when pan is hot put bread in till toasted on each side.
