  2. 1/3 cupsplit peas
  3. 1/2 cupBrown rice
  4. 1 envelopeonion soup mix
  5. 1 tbspcumin
  6. 1 1/2 tbspchili powder
  7. 1/4 cuplow sodium soy sauce
  8. 1/4 cupchipped onion, dried
  9. 2 tspgarlic powder
  10. 2 candiced tomatoes, zesty flavor

    Place all ingredients in crock pot. Cover with water.

    Stir.

    Set on high and cook for six hours.

    Stir occasionally, once every two hours.
