These are so simple and delicious! I always double my batch because one is never enough!
Steps
- 1
Melt 1/3 stick of butter in small pie pan or 8x8 pan. 9x13 if doubling recipe.
- 2
In mixing bowl, combine the baking mix and sour cream.
- 3
Mix until combined well.
- 4
Add 1/2 cup 7Up soda
- 5
Mix until just combined. It will be sticky.
- 6
On well floured surface, turn out dough and sprinkle more flour on top of dough. I use baking mix for this also.
- 7
Knead a few times so the dough is not as sticky. I fold mine over each other to make layers.
- 8
With floured pin or hands, roll or pat out dough to desired thickness.
- 9
Cut into rounds without twisting cutter and place in pan with biscuits touching.
- 10
Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown.
- 11
Brush hot biscuits with melted butter.
- 12
These are super buttery and oh so good :)
