Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1 cupall purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cupwhole wheat flour
  3. 1 tspvanilla powder OR 1 tsp vanilla extract
  4. 2-3plums - chopped finely
  5. 1/4-1/2 cupchopped cashews
  6. 1/4 tspcinnamon powder
  7. 1-2 pinchgrated nutmeg powder
  8. 1/2 cupdairy milk or soy milk
  9. 1.5 tspapple cider vinegar or white vinegar
  10. 1/2 tspbaking soda
  11. 1/2 tspbaking powder
  12. 2/3 cupoil or melted butter
  13. 2 tspChoco syrup
  14. 2 tspTutty futty
  15. Sprinkles

Steps

  1. 1

    Grease a cake round tin or cake loaf pan with oil or butter.

  2. 2

    Preheat your oven to 170 degrees C. seive the whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, cinnamon powder and grated nutmeg along with baking powder.

  3. 3

    Add the oil or melted butter and mix gently. add the sugar and mix.

  4. 4

    Now add the chopped plums and cashews. fold these gently in the cake batter. Add apple cider to soy milk and later add baking soda to this mixture.

  5. 5

    Stir gently and add this frothy bubbly mixture to the cake batter.

  6. 6

    Pour the cake batter in the greased cake pan.

  7. 7

    Bake at 170 degrees C for 35-40 minutes. when the plum cake becomes warm or cools, remove from the cake pan.

  8. 8

    Garnish with Choco syrup,tutty futty and sprinkles.

  9. 9

    Serve eggless plum cake warm with tea or coffee.
