Ingredients

  • 500 gmsfish cut into pieces(any type, better if boneless)
  • 4 tbsplemon juice
  • 50 gmsrice flour
  • 200 gmsgram flour (besan)
  • 2 tbspred chilli powder
  • half tbspblack pepper powder
  • half tbspcarom seeds
  • half tbspturmeric powder
  • 1egg
  • 3 tbspgarlic paste
  • 3 tbspginger paste
  • 4 tbspcurd
  • 1 pinchedible soda
  • chat masala little bit
  • as per tastesalt
  • oil for deep fry
  • onion rings, lemon pieces, coriander leaves for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Take the fish pieces in a bowl.

    Add salt, turmeric, peeper powder, red chilli powder and lemon juice to it. Marinate it for 20 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add ginger paste, garlic paste, gram flour, rice flour, carom seeds (ajwain), curd, soda and egg to it. Mix well.

    Heat oil in a kadai. Fry the fish, until they are golden brown. Add chat masala over it.

    Take the fried fish in a serving plate. Garnish with onion rings, lemon pieces, coriander leaves and Purina chutney.
