Onions in a bottle

Goatman Farms/What's The Dilly, YO? @cook_3341807
Steps
- 1
Cut up to 5 holes in plastic bottle. Make holes like an upside down horseshoe. Leave the flap down like a shelf
- 2
Fill bottle with soil to about 3 inches from top. This is to allow onion growth. Lightly pack soil in bottle
- 3
Add onions and place in kitchen window.
- 4
Since these are grown indoors during the winter, the onions will droop due to the lack of wind to strengthen the chive part of onion. Just simply clip them off, cut them into small pieces and allow to dry for later use.
- 5
Do not over water or you will drown the lower onions.
