Ingredients

  • 2 cupapple juice
  • 4 cupsugar
  • 1/2 tspmargarine
  • 1/3 cupred cinnamon candies
  • 1pouch (6 ounces) liquid pectin

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and sterilize canning jars and lids.

  2. 2

    In a large heavy saucepan, combine juice and sugar.

  3. 3

    Stir well.

  4. 4

    Add margarine and candies.

  5. 5

    Bring to a rolling boil over high heat, stirring constantly.

  6. 6

    Stir in liquid pectin.

  7. 7

    Return to a rolling boil, stirring constantly, and boil 1 more minute.

  8. 8

    Remove from the heat.

  9. 9

    Skim foam from the top of mixture with a large metal spoon.

  10. 10

    Fill sterilized jars to within 1/4 inch of tops.

  11. 11

    Wipe jar rims and seal jars.

  12. 12

    *This recipe makes 4 half pint jars of jelly.*

  13. 13

    **This recipe makes a great gift.**

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
