Ingredients

  1. 1 lbground pork
  2. 1 lbground veal
  3. 1 lbground turkey
  4. 1 cupbread crumbs
  5. 1/3 cupmilk
  6. 3eggs, slightly beaten
  7. 1/3 cupfinely chopped parsley
  8. 1 3/4 tspsalt (I use 1 1/4 teaspoons since I don't care for salt that much)
  9. 1/2 tsppepper
  10. 1/2 cupgrated Parmesan cheese
  11. 3 clovegarlic, finely chopped

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 400°F.

  2. 2

In a large bowl, combine the milk and bread crumbs.

  3. 3

Add the ground meats, parsley, eggs, garlic, salt, pepper and cheese.

  4. 4

    Mix thoroughly with your hands.

  5. 5

    Form into 2 inch balls.

  6. 6

Place the meatballs on a baking sheet.

  7. 7

You can use a rack to keep them above any drained off fat if you prefer.

  8. 8

Bake for 15 minutes and check the center of a meatball to ensure they are done.

  9. 9

Cook for a few more minutes if needed.

  10. 10

Add the meatballs to your favorite sauce and cook over medium low heat, covered, for 20 to 30 minutes.

  11. 11

*This recipe makes about 18 meatballs.*

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
