Ingredients

12 servings
  • 1 boxbetty crocker angle food mix
  • 1 1/4 cupcold water
  • 1food coloring red, green , yellow 6-8 drops each
  • 1 tspgrated lemon or orange peel
  • 1vanilla Glaze
  • 1 cuppowered sugar
  • 1to 2 TBSP. milk
  • 1/2 tspvanilla extract

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350° .

  2. 2

    Beat cake mix , water, lemon peel in extra large mixing bowl.On low for 30 seconds. Beat on medium for 1 min.

  3. 3

    Try to divide batter into 3 bowls Gently stir food colorings in each bowl.

  4. 4

    Pour colors in an ungreased angle food cake pan. Put one color on top of the other one. Do not stir..

  5. 5

    Bake 37-47 min. Until golden brown.when done turn upside down. Cool 2 hrs.run knife around edges. Remove.

    Mix glaze ing. Put on top of your cake. I put some sprinkle on mine...
