  • 1/3 cupaged balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cupextra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsphoney mustard
  • 1 pinchof salt and pepper

    Place mustard in a mixing bowl. Add vinegar and whisk.

  2. 2

    Slowly pour the oil in a thin, steady stream into the bowl while whisking vigorously until liquid has emulsified.

    Season.

    Variations; omit mustard, fresh herbs, dried spices
