Ingredients

  1. 9Egg yolks
  2. 4Egg whites
  3. 1 1/2 cupSuper fine sugar
  4. 1 quartWhole milk
  5. 2 quartHeavy cream
  6. 16 ozBrandy
  7. 8 ozCognac
  8. 2 ozDark rum , optional
  9. 1 1/2 tspToo 2 teaspoons of nutmeg
  10. 1 1/2 tspCinnamon

Steps

  1. 1

    Beat yolks till thick pale yellow using hand mixer

  2. 2

    Add sugar and milk while stirring

  3. 3

    Add heavy cream while stirring then alcohol keep stirring

  4. 4

    In other container beat the egg whites to stiff peaks

  5. 5

    Add other quart of heavy cream to egg whites while stirring

  6. 6

    Fold egg white mixture into yolk mixture

  7. 7

    Add nutmeg and cinnamon stir most in leave some on top

I've been making this for 4 years and now I'm ruined on any other eggnog, it's a huge hit at Christmas parties though.
