Ingredients

18 servings
  1. 2 largeonion, chopped
  2. 2 largestalks of celery chopped
  3. 28 ozcornbread dressing
  4. 4 largeeggs as a binder
  5. 4 largeboiled eggs
  6. 1 largeturkey neck
  7. 1 largeturkey gizzard
  8. 1 largeturkey heart
  9. 3 quartwater
  10. 1 tbsppoulrty seasonings
  11. 32chicken broth

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven 350° Fahrenheit

  2. 2

    Take the giblets from the turkey and neck put into 3 quarts water and bring to boil

  3. 3

    Chop the onions and celery boil 4 eggs let cool set aside

  4. 4

    Pick the meat off the neck of turkey put back into boiling stock of giblets

  5. 5

    Add onions and celery to giblet stock let cook about 30 minutes

  6. 6

    Mix the poultry seasonings, celery, onions, stock and broth with dressing along with the giblet stock along with eggs for binding , make sure the giblet stock is cooled down or you will have scrambled binders

    Mix all together really well add to an oven safe pan raise the temperature to 375°Fahrenheit bake as temperature rises for an hour bottom rack of oven

    Last 15 minutes of cooking put on top rack of oven

  9. 9

    Helpful hint my mom said save the chicken broth for last to cool down the giblet stock so binding eggs don't scramble
