Oats Tikki

Today I would like to share Oats Tikki that can be a great tea time snack or can be served as an appetizer with green chutney or sauce. They can also be packed for a lunch box meal too.

Grind the soaked moong dal with very less water into a paste. Mix with rest of the ingredients (except oil) into a dough.

Divide into small equal portions and give any shape you desire. Refrigerate for a couple of minutes.

Heat 1-2 tbsp. oil in a pan and shallow fry these tikkis in batches till they are light golden in colour.

Serve as an appetizer along with green chutney/sauce or as a tea-time snack.
