Ingredients

  • 4 mediumSalmon filets, approximately 6 ounces each (could do 6 portions with the marinade)
  • 1/3 cupHoisin sauce
  • 3 tbspSoy sauce
  • 3 tbspOrange or pineapple juice
  • 1 tspGranulated garlic
  • 2 tspGinger paste
  • 1 tbspBrown sugar or honey
  • 1 pinchRed pepper flakes, optional

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients except salmon.

  2. 2

    Roll the salmon in marinade and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

  3. 3

    Grill salmon and baste with any remaining marinade. My salmon took about 5 minutes per side. But cooking times will vary according to the thickness of the salmon.
