I found a few different recipes and this was the easiest to make. I made some alterations to the original recipe, and I leave the spaghetti sauce flavour to you. I have always used jarred sauce but if you'd prefer to use homemade - by all means! I use mild Italian sausage, but I don't think it's ever been the same brand. And the wine, just has to be white. And again as always, thank you to my hubby Mike for the photography!! kokomayla -

French inspired dish. Can substitute sliced salt pork instead of bacon. Can substitute sharp cheese with mild but won't be as tasty. bderosby -
Copycat Skyline Chili Copycat Skyline Chili
I made this for the long delayed opening day of the Reds season. I used ground turkey in this apposed to all ground beef because I like the texture better for coney sauce and didn't want it to be too heavy. All beef and easily be used, I would just back off on some of the spices, ground turkey needs a little extra help in the flavor department. jason williams -

Mom's 70's Skyline Chili Mom's 70's Skyline Chili
Skyline Chili is a chain of chili restaurants based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded in 1949 by Greek immigrant Nicholas Lambrinides, Skyline Chili is named for the view of Cincinnati's skyline that Lambrinides could see from his first restaurant. Cincinnati chili is a Mediterranean-spiced meat sauce used as a topping for spaghetti (a "two-way") or hot dogs ("coneys"). Ingredients include ground beef, stock, tomato paste, cinnamon, other Mediterranean spices and sometimes chocolate in a soup-like consistency. Other toppings include cheese, onions, and beans; specific combinations of toppings are known as "ways". For example, a chili spaghetti with cheese and chopped onion or kidney beans is called a "4-way". King-Crimson -
