Ham and Pineapple Pasta Salad

I made this for decades with Poppyseed dressing. It is still one of best salads ever with that. But then I discovered Braswell's Vidalia Onion Peppercorn dressing. There are other brands, but, Oh, mercy.
The other secret is tiny ingredients. Use smallest shells, smallest peas, finest chopped ham. Chop your peppers finely and celery finely. This is the first time I have added celery- an extra crunch.

Steps
- 1
Cook pasta as directed, drain well, do not rinse
- 2
While pasta is cooking, add all other ingredients, except dressing to large mixing bowl and stir well.
- 3
Add warm pasta to other ingredients and stir well. Add one cup of dressing, stir until blended. Reserve rest of the bottle of dressing, it will need more after it soaks in.
- 4
Refrigerate in airtight container for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight. Stir and taste. Add up to one more cup of dressing and stir well before serving. I prefer less dressing, many will prefer the whole bottle!
