Ingredients

  1. 1.5 cupswhite sugar
  2. 1/2 cuphoney
  3. 2 tablespoonsgolden syrup
  4. 1/3 cupwater
  5. 2 teaspoonsbicarbonate of soda

Steps

  1. 1

    In a medium saucepan heat up the water, honey, sugar and syrup until sugar is dissolved.

  2. 2

    Once sugar is dissolved turn up the heat and leave to boil to a temperature of 157 degrees Celsius.

  3. 3

    One at 157 quickly add the bicarb and mix quickly to dissolve. The mixture will start to foam, once it starts to foam up pour it into a baking tray lined with baking paper and leave to cool completely.

  4. 4

    Once cooled, break the honeycomb up and enjoy as you see fit!
