Steps

Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, cardamon together. Till all is mixed up well.

Add blueband and rub well using the tips of your fingers till all is melted. The mixture should look like crumbs for you to know the mixture is well mixed. This step is what will make your mandazi crumbly.

Add the eggs and knead

Add warm milk or water and knead thoroughly until all the flour is mixed. Add bit by bit till you get the required rough texture.

NB: the dough should be harder than that of chapati to make them crumbly.

Apply some flour on the surface and roll your dough, it shouldn't be too thin.

Cut to your desired shape.

Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.

Serve with tea. Enjoy.

Note: cover your dough using a clean cloth for 10 minutes before deep frying.
