In a bowl take the chanas and mash then lightly......

In a different bowl take a yogurt gram flour turmeric salt red chilli powder coriander gram masala powder and mix it well taking care not a form any lumbs.

Add green chill chopped and mix

In a pan heat the oil and add Asafoetida, cumin seeds to it and cook till light brown.

Pour in the yogurt mixture and stir well

One boil then mashed chanas cook for 10 min in slow gas .

Garnish with coriander leave and serve hot with rice and chapati .....
