1 cupRaisins
1 cupSugar
1 cupShortening
2Eggs Beaten
1 cupOatmeal
2 cupFlour
1 tspBaking Soda
1 tspBaking Powder
1/2 tspCinnamon and Cloves
1 cupNuts (if desired)

Steps

Cook raisins til tender.

Blend sugar an shortening.

Add beaten eggs and oatmeal.

Soft together and add flour, soda, bkp, and Cinnamon.

Add cooked raisins and 5 T of their juice. (Nuts)

Chill batter and then drop from teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet.

Cook at 375°F for 15 minutes to make 3 and a half dozen.
