Flaky Buttery Biscuits

Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 450°. Butter or line baking sheet.
- 2
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Using 2 forks, combine the butter and flour mixture until it resembles coarse meal.
- 3
Slowly add the milk to desired consistency.
- 4
For softer biscuits, drop 2 Tbsp. of dough into lined baking sheet. For firmer biscuits, turn the dough out onto clan, lightly floured surface and gently knead just to bring the dough to 3/4" thickness. Cut out about 12 biscuits and place on lined baked sheet. Bake biscuits for 13-15 minutes. Add additional 3-4 minutes for frozen ones. Bake until golden brown.
- 5
For softer, cakier biscuits: Add more milk (1 CUP IS TOO MUCH)
- 6
*If freezing: Freeze on baking sheet after cutting. Then remove to a reasonable container or plastic bag for storage.
