Ingredients

4 servings
  • 500 gmlady fingers (Bhindi)
  • 1 tspginger paste
  • 2green chilli cut long thin pieces
  • 2medium tomatoes chopped finely
  • 1 halfboiled potato cut small pieces
  • 1onion cut long pieces
  • 1 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsphaldi powder
  • 1 tspdhania powder
  • 1/2 tspamchur powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspgaram masala
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • 2 tspaam ke achar ka masala
  • 1 pinchhing
  • 1 tspzeera
  • 1 tspfennel (saunf)
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds (rai)
  • 2 tbspoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash Bhindi and wipe dry.now cut the bhindi lengthwise from the middle making 2 thin pieces from each.

  2. 2

    Grease the non stick tawa.place the bhindi pieces on it. Sprinkle 1 tbsp oil and mix well.Spread bhindi in a single layer.place the tawa on high rack and grill for 8 min. Mix lightly and grill for 2 min. Transfer to a glass dish.

    In a small bowl put 2 tbsp oil and all ingredients.

    Microwave for 3 min.

    To the bhindi,add Achari spices and all the remaining ingredients.

  6. 6

    Add potato,tomato, green chilli, onion pieces.

  7. 7

    Mix very well. Microwave for 5 min.

  8. 8

    Ready to serve.
