Makhanas are so versatile, you can use them as snacks by just roasting them, add it in milk to make kheer for dessert , make it as chaat or Cook them in gravy as a main course. Here I have cooked in zero oil for anniversary party.

Makhanas are so versatile, you can use them as snacks by just roasting them, add it in milk to make kheer for dessert , make it as chaat or Cook them in gravy as a main course. Here I have cooked in zero oil for anniversary party.
Steps

Heat a large skillet or dosa tava. Dry roast everything except milk, coriander and mint leaves

Grind together all the dry spices including cashews, char magaz.

Add roasted tomatoes and garlic to the mixer and make a paste.

Heat a non stick pan and pour the tomatoes and spices mixture.

Cook for 5 minutes. Add milk and salt.
- 6
Add roasted Makhanas to the pan. Mix well. Add 1 cup water and mint leaves. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Remove from gas and sprinkle mint and corianderleaves. Serve with rice or chapati
