Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 300 gmsfresh cottage cheese (paneer cut into small cubes)
  2. 1 & 1/2 cup sugar
  3. 15nos almonds (soaked overnight and peeled)
  4. 1 cupfresh coconut (peel and cut into small pieces)
  5. 1/2 cupsoaked raisins
  6. 1/2 cupdates (seedless and sliced)
  7. 1/2 teaspoonsaffron
  8. 3-4 green cardamon
  9. 2 tablespoonRose water (optional)
  10. 2 tablespoonspure clarified butter

Steps

  1. 1

    Shallow fry paneer cubes in ghee till it will get turn into light brown. 

  2. 2

    Make sugar syrup (1&1/2 cup sugar +3 cup water+ green cardamom) bring it to boil for 3 to 4min on low flame.

  3. 3

    Put fried paneer in sugar syrup cover lid and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes on low flame.

  4. 4

    Add coconut pieces, almonds cover the lid and cook it for 3 to 4minutes on low flame.

  5. 5

    Add raisins and dates again cook for 2 minutes by covering lid.

  6. 6

    Now finally add zaffron and cook well till all ingredients look little shiny or you can say sugar syrup covered the ingredients.

  7. 7

    Cool down on room temperature.

  8. 8

    Serve it in in bowls.
