Steps

Cream butter and sugar, add well beaten eggs, nutmeg and milk.

Sift flour, salt and baking powder and add to mixture.

If necessary, add more flour to make soft dough, knead, roll and twist into shape.

Fry in hot lard until light brown, drain on unglazed paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar
