Chicken Biryani / Masala Chicken Biryani

Wash and soak the rice for 1/2 an hour
Wash the chicken pat dry the excess water with muslin cloth.
Now marinate the chicken with curd, salt, red chilli powder, kashmiri mirch powder, 2 stick cinnamon, black pepper, ginger, garlic paste, mace, nutmeg, green cardamom and 1 tbsp ghee,keep it for 1/2 an hour. - 2
Heat the remaining ghee in a pan and fry the sliced onion,
Boil the water in a heavy bottom pan add 1 stick cinnamon, salt to taste, bay leaf, green cardamom, clove and rice cook the rice.
Now heat the butter in another pan cook the marinated chicken for 10 minutes. - 3
Now arrange the layer with rice, cooked chicken,fried onion, butter on the top spread the mint leaves and coriander leaves
Cover and put the pot on a griddle and cook for 10 to 15 minutes
