Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsprajma / red kidney beans
  • 2 Tbspchana dal / gram lentil
  • 2 Tbspblack urad dal / lentil
  • 10Chopped garlic cloves
  • 2Chopped onion
  • 3Chopped tomato
  • 2Chopped green chilli
  • 1 Tspred chilli powder
  • 1 Tspcoriander powder
  • to tasteSalt
  • 4 Tspoil
  • 6 Cupwater
  • 1 Tspcoriander leaves
  • 1/2 Tspturmeric powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak rajma / red kidney beans,gram lentil /chana dal and black urad dal / lentil.

  2. 2

    After six hours strain the water

  3. 3

    Pressure cook lentil / dal.

  4. 4

    After 3 - 4 whistle switch off the gas.

  5. 5

    Heat oil in a pan.

  6. 6

    Add garlic cloves and saute for one mins.

  7. 7

    Add chopped onion and saute for 3 - 4 mins.

  8. 8

    Add chopped tomatoes,green chilli and cook well.

  9. 9

    Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and salt and mix well.

  10. 10

    Add lentil / dal and cook 10 mins in a low flame.

  11. 11

    Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
