Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp.oil
  • 1/2 tspcumin / jeera
  • 1 1/4 cuptomatoes or ¾ cup plus 2 tbsp. puree
  • 1 cupthinly sliced onions (2 medium onions)
  • 1green chilli slit
  • 1 1/2 tspginger garlic paste
  • 1 cupcapsicum / bell peppers
  • 1/4 cupthinly sliced tomatoes
  • 300 gramspaneer cut in cubes
  • 1-1 1/4 tspgaram masala
  • 1/2-3/4 tspred chilli powder
  • 2 pinchesturmeric
  • as neededsalt
  • 1/4-1/2 tspkasuri methi / dried fenugreek leaves
  • leavesfew coriander

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan and saute cumin until they crackle.
    Fry onions until transparent. Fry ginger galic untill red
    Add tomato puree and fry until it thickens a bit.
    Add spice powders and salt.

  2. 2

    Fry tomatoes and Capsicums like half cook.
    Add paneer, kasuri methi and stir slowly to coat the spice paste well.
    Cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Do not over cook.

  3. 3

    Add coriander leaves and stir.
    Garnish with coriander leaves if you wish
