Ingredients

  1. 250 gmGreen peas peels
  2. 1 cupGram flour
  3. 1 cupRice flour
  4. to tasteSalt
  5. 2 tspRed chilli powder or to taste
  6. 1 tspCoriander powder
  7. 1 tbspGinger, garlic paste
  8. 1 tbspChat masala powder
  9. 1 tbspLemon juice
  10. Oil for frying
  11. For serving-----
  12. Green chutney as required
  13. Sweet tamarind chutney as required
  14. 2 cupCurd
  15. 1 tbspSugar
  16. Black salt as required
  17. 2 tbspRoasted cumin powder
  18. 1 tbspRed chilli powder
  19. 2 tbspCoriander leaves chopped

Steps

  1. 1

    String the green pea peels and remove the thin skin.(See the pictures below. Follow the same procedure for the rest of pods) keep them in cold water.
    Whip the curd with sugar and keep aside.
    Take a large bowl add rice flour, gram flour, salt, red chilli powder, chat masala powder, coriander powder, lemon juice, ginger, garlic paste. Add sufficient water to make a thick batter.

    Heat the oil in wok or in a pan, dip the peel in batter one by one and deep fry them on medium flame till golden and crisp.
    Drain on an absorbent paper.
    Now arrange the pakoras in a serving plate, pour some curd, green chutney, sweet tamarind chutney.

    Sprinkle roasted cumin powder, red chilli powder, black salt. and garnish with coriander leaves.
