Ingredients

  1. 1.1 lbsground beef or lamb for kofta (about 500 grams)
  2. 2large fried potatoes
  3. 2large tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  4. 1 tablespoonhot red pepper sauce
  5. Salt
  6. 2 tablespoonssour pomegranate molasses
  7. Oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Shape the kofta mixture into finger-sized pieces and sauté them in oil in a large skillet until cooked through.

  2. 2

    Add the fried potatoes.

  3. 3

    Add the tomatoes, salt, hot pepper sauce, pomegranate molasses, and a little water.

  4. 4

    Simmer over medium heat for 10 minutes until everything is well combined and flavorful.
