In a bowl mix besan, salt,milk, colour & enough water to make a thick batter.

Heat oil or ghee in a kadhai, take a boondi ladle pour little batter on the ladle and tap carefully over the oil to make boondis.

Do not fry fr a long time. Remove the boondis on a kitchen towel. Repeat to finish.

Boil the sugar and water until one string consistency. Off the flame add lemon juice and cardamom powder.

Add the prepared boondis to the sugar syrup mix well, keep it covered fr 15 to 20 mins.

Add some chopped pistachios mix. Make small ladoos. Repeat till all ladoos are made. Serve
