in large pot, brown ground beef

while meat is cooking, finely chop green and red peppers and onion

mince garlic in chopper then add garlic, red pepper, green pepper, and onion to ground beef

after beef is browned, add the fresh chopped roma tomatoes, and all the canned tomatoes

mix all ingredients in pot and then add chili powder and oregano

salt and pepper to taste and bring mixture to a slow boil

cook on medium heat for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally

reduce heat to medium low, add red kidney beans, and continue to simmer for about an hour and a half to two hours

just before serving, heat some garlic bread, serve and enjoy
