Steps

Preheat the oven to 180* C.Grease the baking tray Sieve the flour.Soak the saffron in hot milk and mash it with fingers to extract the juice from the saffron.

Beat sugar + butter till creamy in a mixing bowl .

Add the saffron extract + cardamom powder and mix well.

Add the sieved flour and mix well with clean hands.

Knead it into a smooth and soft dough.

Each portion and make smooth balls with palm.
♦Now give desired shape.
♦I have used my chakli press to make these lovely shape.

♦Arrange the cookies on the baking tray.Garnish with dry fruits and saffron.
♦Bake it for 15 – 20 mins till it is done.

♦Check after 15 mins.
♦Once done allow them to cool.[be careful as it will be soft ]

♦It will become crisp on cooling.
♦Saffron cookies are ready to serve.
