Chatpati matar (green peas)

Heat oil in a kadhai, add cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste, green chilli and asafoetida and let them sizzle for few seconds.

Add green peas, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt mix very well.

Add 1/2 cup water and mix well and cover cook on low to medium heat for 10-15 minutes.

Cook without cover while stirring the gravy dries up. put off the flame. Add lemon juice and coriander levels mix well and serve hot with paratha and chapati.
