Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlIndrayani Cooked rice or any sticky rice
  2. 1 tbspghee
  3. 1 tspJeera and Mohri
  4. 2Hot Red Chilli Whole
  5. 1 tspUrad Dal Soaked
  6. 1 tbspKadi Patta/ Curry leaves finely chopped
  7. 1 pinchHing
  8. 1Dark Green Chilli finely chopped
  9. 2 tbspCashew
  10. 1 tbspRaisins
  11. 1small Onion thin sliced
  12. 2 tbspCorns
  13. 1 cupCurd
  14. 1/4 Cup Sugar
  15. as per tasteSalt
  16. as neededCoriander for Garnish

Steps

  1. 1

    Take ghee in kadhai and fry onion till golden brown and take it out of ghee.

  2. 2

    Now add Jeera and Mohri in same ghee. Also add soaked Urad dal, hing, cashew, raisins, curry leaves, corns, green chilli and red chilli powder. And cook it till it become slight golden.

  3. 3

    While other things are getting cooked, add sugar in curd and whip it little.

  4. 4

    Now add rice in fried mixture. Mix it. Add salt here. Mix it well. Then add half of curd mixture in it and mix it and let it cook for 2-3 mins.

  5. 5

    Now at the time of serving add remaining curd mixture. Add fried onion as well and garnish it with coriander. Serve it cold or you can reheat it in microwave for 30 seconds.
