
spaghetti with strawberries and honey balsamic sauce

cook spaghetti as directed
- 2
mash and heat half of the strawberries and add sugar. add some of water if too thick. once syrup consistency, turn off heat. slice remaining strawberries and set aside for garnishing later.

mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil and honey in a bowl. should have a good consistency and balance of fruity, sour and sweet.

cook bacon bits and drain. set aside.

heat the peppercorns in bacon fat and then add the honey balsamic mixture until blended and of sauce consistency. turn off heat.

plate the spaghetti. ladle the honey balsamic sauce. top it off with the strawberry sauce.

garnish with strawberries, bacon bits and mint leaves. serve.
