Preheat oven 375

Cream together butter, shortening and 1 1/2 cup sugar

Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well

Add the flour, cream of tarter, baking soda and salt. Stir until combined

Shape dough by spoonfuls into balls. (Grease hands with spray, the dough is sticky).

Put tray into the refrigerator while rolling the second tray.

Then you are ready to roll into the cinnamon and sugar.

In a separate bowl. Mix the 4 Tbsp sugar and 1 Tbsp cinnamon. Roll balls into mixture

Place about 2" apart on parchment paper lined cookie sheet

Bake 8 to 9 minutes. (Do NOT over bake!)

Remove immediately and move to cooling rack carefully.
