Lemon beetroot tea
Last year I begun a no milk diet and so I consequently stopped taking milk tea. Now, I had to look for interesting (and tasty) alternatives because, let's face it, black tea every day is not something to look forward to.
I stumbled upon this lemon beetroot tea accidentally and if anything, I am particularly crazy about the colour.
P/s: This tastes nothing like beets, so if you don't like them, you will still enjoy this tea.

Steps

Into the boiling water squeeze all of the lemon juice from the piece that'd cut into half.

Drop in the slice of beetroot.

Let it steep for 10 minutes or until the tea turns into a splendid magenta (as per picture).

Sweeten and garnish with the lemon slice that's left over.

P/s: Wonderful add ins for this would be ginger, mint or even rosemary.
