
Tortilla soup (sopa de tortillas)

With sissors, cut the dry chilli into thin strips And leave one whole. in a pan with the oil, fry the chillies for a few seconds, then put them away for a while on a napkin to dry excess oil, and save oil left in pan.

Blend the fry whole chilli,onion, garlic and tomato with a bit of water. strain into a pot and add the oil left from the chilli. add water (if you want you can add more or less water).

Add dry concentrated chicken broth (consome de pollo) and bayleaf, then bring to boil.

While the broth boils, cut tortillas with sissors into strips about 1cm thick and 5cm long. then fry them in a pan until they are nice and crunchy. set them to dry on a napkin.

Once the broth has boiled, turn off the heat and serve with a few tortillas strips and a few chilli strips. you can also add fresh cheese and avocato. Bon appetit!
