Steps
- 1
I bought a whole chicken and processed it myself at home for 99 cents per lb. A cut up usually runs 20- 30 cents more per lb.
- 2
Cut up your chicken or open package and place on foil. Pat dry your skin side with a paper towel.
- 3
Season skin side and internal side with salt pepper and paprika.
- 4
Put your cut up chicken in a baking dish. If you want to make a gravy add a wire rack and add 3/4 cup of water or stock.
- 5
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- 6
Put your chicken in the center of your oven and set your timer to 90 min.
- 7
Simple and delicious. This recipe is easy and foolproof. As long as you buy a 3-4 lb. Chicken cooking it at 325 for 90 mins will be moist and will reach the recommended 165 degrees it actually comes out at around 173 degrees enjoy!!!!
