In a mixing bowl, seive all the dry ingredients - Maida, powdered sugar, baking powder and baking soda

Seive it well to avoid lumps Dry ingredients are ready - keep it aside

In another mixing bowl add curd, oil, vanilla essence, vinegar and whisk it well You can use electric beater as well

Now add the dry ingredients - Whisk it well- Add water and whisk again to make a smooth batter

Pre heat oven at 180 degree centigrade- Meantime grease the container with oil, you can use butter as well

Grease it well from all the sides- Cut the butter paper in round shape and place it at the bottom of the container- Grease the paper as well

Pour the batter in the container/tin
Shake the container/tin and tap it on surface so that the batter is spread evenly - 8
Place the container in oven and bake it for 30 -35 minutes- Check after 30 minutes - insert a toothpick in cake, if batter does not stick to the toothpick... that means cake is baked completely

Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for sometime at room temperature- Once cooled, run a knife around the cake's edges so that it is removed easily

Now remove the cake from the container, take a plate and flip over- Tap it slightly - the cake will come out with ease - remove the butter paper

Take another plate and flip it upside down
- The cake is ready - cut into pieces as per your preference
- The cake looks yummy, soft and spongy
